Em Junho deste ano Portugal recebeu o primeiro evento internacional de Esports, o
Moche XL eSports , sendo que diversos jogadores que atenderam ao evento pediram por mais eventos em Portugal e elogiaram bastante o público. Houve inclusive diversos espectadores online a pedir que Portugal tivesse um evento 'tier 1', e esse evento chegou.

BLAST Pro Series Lisboa 2018 teve lugar este fim-de-semana e, pelo que corre nas redes sociais, superou todas as expectativas, quer do público português, quer do internacional e até mesmo da própria organização do mesmo. Um destaque claro ao longo de todo o dia de BLAST foi Alexandre "Archarom" Maia, ele que foi o host português deste evento e levou o público completamente ao limite numa arena que contava com cerca de 6 mil pessoas.
